We’ve been providing paycards for 13 years now. When we first started in 2002, we were literally working from the trunk of my car. My office travelled with me. Back then, payroll cards, also known as paycards, were just getting off the ground. Most people didn’t really know what they were or how to utilize them.
Most companies offered paycards as a sideline option to their other business. Global Cash Card recognized the unique possibilities the cards provided and we quickly specialized in them. Soon they became our only business. With a lot of hard work and dedication from some incredible employees, we have grown from that mobile office to one of the top providers of paycards in the world.
One of our first accomplishments is that we developed the industry’s first paycard-specific software which allowed cardholders to easily access and manage their money. Ever since then, we have been on the forefront of melding technology with service. Last year we won technology awards for our Expense Manager and Geo Fraud features. And just this month we announced a groundbreaking self-service direct deposit feature for payroll managers.
But my proudest achievements have to do with our customer relationships. In the end, this business depends on attention to detail and building trust with our customers. Our tremendous retention rate attests to the magnificent job our employees do in exceeding our customers’ expectations.
Today we have millions of cardholders and our clients represent some of the finest companies in the world. We are proud of what we have done in just 13 short years. But we recognize this is only the beginning. Our engineers and customer service professionals are constantly thinking up ways to support cardholders that have not been invented yet. How about a paycard where you just think about your card balance and… POW there it is on your smartphone. Well, maybe not yet, but who knows? If it’s possible (and sometimes even when it’s impossible) if it benefits our cardholders, our people will figure out how to make it happen.
Thanks for the 13 and we’re ready for 13 more!
